Liz was unique and stood out from the crowd. My first memories of her are filled with a vision of the most amazing hippy mum, surrounded by dogs and owls and bunny rabbits and people. Gwydor Road was the party house with Liz centre of attention. I loved that you could never predict what she was going to do next and she was FUN FUN FUN.
We became neighbours when she moved to West Wickham. I got a chance to pay back some of the cheese on toast, animal education and weekend lodging from Gwydor Road. Liz and I spent hours talking, sitting, discussing dog walking and watching Pointless. She was so generous, always trying to give me little presents and persuade me to run down to the shops. She talked constantly about Charleen and David (and the dogs), showed me pictures of family back in Norway and was always happiest with people around her.
In later life, Liz was much quieter but still game for a laugh. She used to crack me up with her "Love you more" routine with Charleen and David. In my mind she will always be associated with laughter, bright colours and someone who deeply cared about the people, animals and environment around her.
Thank you Liz - for everything xx I miss you xx I bet you're raising hell in heaven ;)
